Anugyalaya DDSSS under the SUROKSHIT SHAISHAV (Promoting Safe Childhood in West Bengal) supported by Caritas Germany. We have been working on safeguarding of Child Rights and Protection in the area of Darjeeling and Kalimpong District since 2019. The project aims at working towards the abolition of child labour, early marriage, child sexual abuse, health, education and livelihood.
The main objectives of this project are to:
Enhance the capacities of the children where children takes the lead and becomes the voice of the voiceless and oppressed. In short it’s – ‘by the children, for the children and of the children’.
To establish effective child protection systems with support from government & stakeholders through promoting children’s right to education, inclusive development and social participation.
